Your employee roster, your HSA administrator credentials, a signed Business Associate Agreement — and one signature directing your TPA to share prior-authorization data with Pario. That single page activates detection for your entire covered population. No IT team required. No health system negotiations. We design your employee enrollment campaign, configure your reward structure, and have you live within three weeks.

What employees authorize: Read-only access to imaging order notifications. They can revoke access at any time. Their employer never sees individual health data — only aggregate program metrics.

When the order is placed

An imaging order enters your plan. Pario detects it.

Pario detects the order through the plan's prior-authorization stream, the member's connected records, or the member's own text — while scheduling is still ahead of them. This covers scheduled MRI, CT, PET, and ultrasound orders. Emergency and urgent imaging is always excluded — we only act on scheduled, non-time-sensitive orders.

Opportunity evaluation

Pario evaluates the savings opportunity. Silently, if there isn't one.

Our platform checks ACR-accredited facilities within a practical distance of the employee's location, compares what your plan would pay at each option against the default (hospital-based) rate, and calculates the employee's exact out-of-pocket cost and potential HSA reward at each. If the savings delta isn't meaningful — if no better option exists nearby — we stay silent. We only contact the employee when there's a real opportunity worth acting on.

Quality standard: Every facility Pario recommends holds ACR accreditation — the American College of Radiology's gold standard. Same machine. Same imaging protocols. Same radiologist read quality. Verified monthly.

The offer

The employee gets one text. Two options. Real numbers.

The message arrives before the employee has called anyone to schedule. It shows their specific out-of-pocket cost and exact HSA reward at two nearby, accredited options — not generic estimates, their actual plan numbers. They reply with 1 or 2. If neither works, they reply SKIP. That's the entire employee interaction before booking.

What the message contains: Facility name, distance, star rating, the employee's exact cost, and the exact HSA reward amount. No marketing language. No enrollment forms. One decision.

Booking · within 15 minutes of the reply

A navigator calls and books the appointment. The employee does nothing else.

Within 15 minutes of the employee's reply, a Pario care navigator calls them. The navigator already has the order details on screen. They call the facility and confirm the appointment while the employee is on the line — or offer a callback with a confirmed time. The average call takes four minutes. The employee never has to coordinate anything.

Within 24 hours of confirmed appointment

Reward posts. Savings hit your plan.

Once the appointment is confirmed at the Pario-recommended facility, the HSA reward is automatically deposited — no forms, no claims processing, no waiting period. The employee receives a confirmation text. Your daily digest updates with the case, the gross savings, the reward paid, and your net return. Your CFO sees a real ROI number, not a projection.

How you're billed: Rewards come out of the documented savings first; of what remains, you keep 80% and we keep 20%. If the employee skips or doesn't convert, there's no charge. If we don't save you money, you never pay us.
